Evaluation
Below is the final competed edit of my horror project 'Fear Inside'.
My role in the creation of this project was director and camera operator. However, due to the lack of crew I was sound and camera operator when we were filming. I also edited alongside another member of our three piece team. I found it difficult to direct and operate both camera and sound, I soon became confused with what I was aiming to get and struggled frequently with making sure the sound was right.
My strongest quality, I felt, was working as camera operator. I feel that with my previous experience and knowledge of good shot types and compositions helped me. I personally feel that the cinematography and the visual aspects of this project are the strongest.
I personally felt that this film does appeal my target audience and channel 4s target audience, due to the casting and use of modern technology and language it helps to relate to the teenage/young adult audiences.
I felt that our film had strong aesthetic qualities, I felt that our close up and extreme close ups not only create a high aesthetical appeal but also help us to create tension.

We faced some difficulties with this project. One of the main ones was the lack of crew, as everyone else was busy working on their own films there was very few people left to help when I filmed. This mean that there was only three of us producing one short film. Due to this, our sound throughout the film is not to the high quality. As I, nor the other two girsl, weren't familiar with the sound equipment we thought that it was working fine. It was only when we had begun editing that we realised, if a viewer watches it with headphone they won't be able to hear anything through the right headphone.
