10 Year Plan
Finish the second year of the two year TV and Film college course. Go to open days and apply for multiple Universities. - 1 year
The next step for me would be to apply for university. I would like to further my education and get a wider skill set and qualifications. The universities that I am interested in are Bournemouth and Plymouth. I'm interested in these two universities as they are close to where I live, this means traveling back home won't be difficult or costly. I also am interested in Bournemouth and Plymouth as they both offer courses in both Film Studies and Illustrating. I would like to look into studying a film course I have a strong interest in films and the process of creating them. I'd like to focus on the camera operating aspect of film making. As for the illustrating course, I'd like to look into that as drawing has always been something I enjoy and I'd like to have qualifications in both film making and illustrating. This then allows me to use both of these skills to my creative advantage when I get a job. - 3/4 years
After completing a University course I hope to find myself a job within the media industry. I hope to get a job as a runner and work my way up into the industry and potentially become a cinematographer/DOP. As for a job within the illustrating industry I hope that the course will introduce me into ways of getting my work noticed and published. During my time completing the university course I will research different ways of getting into the industry.
