Problems with the original idea and planning a new idea:
I have had many struggles with my 'Deliverer' idea, I've struggled greatly with writing the script. I have also struggled to find actors which fit the description of my characters, also with no budget costumes will be expensive.
Although I really liked my idea, I feel it won't be successful when completed. I may work on the idea again in the future but as deadlines are approaching I think changing my idea will benefit me.
After going back to my original planning I just worked on a new idea from the three things I wanted to explore which were colour, emotion and camera work. While discussing this my tutor, we came up with the idea of having the film shot as an over-the-shoulder shot, following someone. From there I came up with the idea of the film following someones thought process, looking into the different emotions linked to those thoughts.

New Idea: 'What If?'
Narrative:
The protagonist has an important decision to make in their life, a situation which provides a lot of thought, with multiple possible outcomes, both positive and negative.
The audience will follow the protagonist as they are walking through different locations, whilst being in different locations the audience will hear a though which will reflect the locations atmosphere. For example, a dark forest would reflect fear. Each location will reflect a different emotion linked to that thought.
Music/Colour:
To emphasise the emotional aspect I will take inspiration from Wes Anderson and use colour pallets. specific colours help to enhance emotions on people, I want to do that within my film. Alongside this I will use specific pieces of music which also reflect the emotion of the scene. As I want to try something different and not have facial expressions, which are commonly used to portray emotion in film. I want to portray emotion through colour and music, I feel that if I practise and find the right music, my desire effect should work successfully.
Locations:
The locations needed for this production are scenes which will increase the emotional impact on the viewer. I'll need locations which can, alongside colour and music, help reflect the protagonist emotion behind their thought. Some locations are listed below:
- Forest
- Beach
- Busy street (if possible)
- Exterior House (Possibly Interior as well)
- Field with flowers
