Fanta TV advertisement idea
Our idea is to start the advert with a group of teenagers sat at a park bench. They are all bored and are on their phones, until one person stands up and suggest to play the 'Fanta game'. They all agree to play and one person grabs a pack of Fanta bottles/cans and shakes a few of them up, then puts them down and mixes all the bottles/cans around so no one knows which ones are shaken. The group then take it in turns to open a bottle/can and see if they got a shaken one, the advert ends with one of the friends opening a shaken bottle and quickly trying to drink it before it spills everywhere.
Decision making: We decided to use teenagers in our advert as it fits the products target market, we planned on setting the story at a house party, however we realised that this wouldn't send out a good message as teenagers may want to play the 'Fanta game' too, this could then cause damage to furniture or items inside consumers houses.
Another decision we had to make was whether we were going to use to use bottle or cans in our advert. After doing market research we found out that the majority of people prefer to drink from bottles, however we decided to use cans as they shake up more than bottles. We also decided to use cans as they aren't clear so it added to the tension in our advert. We liked the idea of making the 'Fanta game' the main feature for our advert, this allows extra benefits to be made, for example, Fanta could release a hashtag which could help boast sales, they also could release special pack of 10 cans which are designed with 'Fanta game' on them. This again would help increase sales. |
Budget:
Our production doesn't have much cost to it, the main cost will be purchasing the cans of Fanta. Most supermarkets sell a packet of 6 cans for around £5, sometime offering deals as well. Schedule:
Our schedule is simple, we plan to complete the filming within one day, our advert isn't too complex so it shouldn't take any longer than a day. |
